What's the difference between Rhino Bond and mechanically attached TPO?
Rhino Bond uses electromagnetic induction to weld the membrane to special fastener plates beneath the surface — meaning zero exposed fasteners penetrating the membrane. This reduces leak risk, improves wind uplift ratings, and creates a cleaner finished product. Mechanically attached systems use screws and plates through the membrane at the seams, which is more economical but creates more potential leak points over time.
